Session 1: Create and Collaborate Grades 6th - 8th Starting September 17th

from $30.00

Dates: September 17th & 24th
Time: 6:15 PM - 7:45 PM

Students in grades 6-8 are invited to join artist Erin Kaczkowski, the owner of Bite Size Studio, to create a unique art while connecting with their own creative community.

During these sessions, students will play with various mediums and expand their creativity.

September we are focusing on our community and creating a collaborative art project.

October we will be diving into paper mache creative 3D art pieces.

In addition to learning how to collaborate on a large-scale art project, students will explore more advanced concepts such as the use of color theory, composition, and texture to create a visually engaging installation. They will also develop skills in giving and receiving constructive feedback, an essential part of the creative process. This course serves as a foundational experience in community-building and artistic expression that will be expanded upon throughout the year.

Students are encouraged to wear clothes that they don’t mind getting paint or glue on, though we will provide smocks to protect their attire.

**This class is on the second level with stair access only**
